    Kids’ Check in

Our check-in & welcome team is vital to our success. This is where families are greeted; children are checked in and guided to their environments. Our check-in volunteers are warm and friendly and help our families have a safe and great experience. Our welcome teams also monitor the security of our kids’ wing during the entirety of ministry activities.

Not sure your child is well enough to attend ministry activities?

If a child shows these symptoms listed below or simply appears ill, please do not bring him/her to the ministry activity. They will need to stay with and attend regular service with the you.

  • Any degree of fever
  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Unexplained or contagious skin rash
  • Chronic cough
  • Runny nose (especially with yellow/green discharge)
  • Eye/ear infections
  • Pink eye
  • Parasites (nits, lice, mites, ring worm, etc.)

Visiting for the first time?

For the new or visiting student, check in volunteers will be the first contact at the kids’ security desk. We hope to have the small group leader introduced and meet mom/dad upon first visit whether it be the beginning or end of the service. We’d love to shake your hands and introduce ourselves right away as we begin to develop trust and relationship.

Check-out Procedure

Children may not leave the kids’ wing for any reason without their responsible adult turning in the corresponding ID sticker to match the child’s sticker.

At the end of service, bring your white security tag to match it to your child’s tag number. Once this match has been made, your child will be dismissed by the classroom teacher.
