Need prayer for anything? Have a question for one of the leaders? Interested in connecting with that other family? Stick around and connect. Every service will have a "soft" close, as we want to continue to allow a time to respond to the Word, receive prayer and connect - without the clock telling you it’s time to leave.
Feel free to ask questions or even offer your help in using gifts God gave you (talking to you admin and hospitality people). You can email questions to email@example.com or simply click the picture to the left.
Here you'll find some answers to questions that a visitor to our church may have.
Although coffee is not the point of coming to church, we often have a pot brewed so people can arrive a bit early to visit and enjoy a warm drink. Usually service goes like this: we sing a couple of songs of praise and worship followed by a 30-45 minute sermon from the Bible. Then we close with additional prayer and worship.
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, without error, and the final authority for faith and life. we will live under its authority, both individually and as a church body. As our elders preach from it, we believe it is relevant and applicable to everyday life in every century.
We also believe in the work of the Holy Spirit, who is present in the world to reveal and glorify Christ, to make men and women aware of their sins, and to impart new life to all who place their faith in Christ alone. As such, we expect the Lord to work among us through the spiritual gifts
described in the Bible.
if you would like more information on Cobblestone's beliefs
We are a come-as-you-are kind of church that can mean jeans, a t-shirt, shorts, sandals...or something fancier if you like. We try to make sure that visitors to Cobblestone can relax without fear of being embarrassed. Although we won't ask visitors to stand or make them say anything, we’d love for them to fill out a Connection Card (found in the holders on the back of the seats in the sanctuary) so we can get to know them.
Completed cards can be dropped in the Connect Card baskets in the atrium.
Our members and regular attenders support the church financially. We believe giving is part of our worship, but don't expect others (such as visitors) to give unless God leads them to.
Offering bags will not be passed around. There are tithe and offering boxes installed on the wall next to each set of sanctuary and atrium doors. Cobblestone also has online giving set up by
credit card or electronic funds transfer
