Bob & Robin Hostetler
Pastor of Leadership and Teaching

Bob Hostetler is Pastor of Leadership and Teaching for Cobblestone Community Church. He is also an award-winning writer, editor, pastor and speaker from southwestern Ohio. His more than twenty books include American Idols, which he dedicated to the founders, members, and friends of Cobblestone. He has won two Gold Medallion Awards, three Ohio Associated Press awards, and an Amy Foundation Award. He is also a frequent speaker at churches, conferences, and retreats. He and his wife, the lovely Robin, were married in 1977. They have two adult children, Aubrey and Aaron.

Last book read: Answering God, by Eugene Peterson (but that'll change in just a few days)...
Favorite books (among the few I re-read): Knowing God (Packer), The Pursuit of God (Tozer), Keeping the Sabbath Wholly (Dawn), Sit Walk Stand (Nee), Orthodoxy (Chesterton), Mere Christianity (Lewis)
Favorite authors: Louis L'Amour, William Faulkner, Mark Twain
Favorite scripture: I like it all. But Col. 3:23 is among my favorites
Favorite food: I like it all. But there's nothing like a good steak and baked potato
Hobbies: Reading. Hiking. Softball. Dating my wife

John & Kay Johnson
Pastor of Community Life

John Johnson is a Butler County native who completed nearly all of his primary and secondary education in the Talawanda district, graduating from Talawanda High School. He worked for twenty-five years at Miami Machine in Overpeck. He has been a Christ-follower for over twenty years, and has served with his wife Kay as Sunday school teacher, youth leader, small group leader, etc., in various churches over those years. John and Kay have been married for twenty-four years. Their children are Shena and Shohn, and they have a grandson, Austin. They live in Hamilton.

Favorite books: Trails and Turnpikes, by Carl Price; Pilgrim at Tinker Creek, by Annie Dillard; The Pillars of the Earth, by Ken Follett; The Green Mile, by Stephen King; God Came Near, by Max Lucado; Five Smooth Stones for Pastoral Work, by Eugene Peterson; and certainly not least, Song of Solomon, by, um, well, Solomon (depending on who you ask)
Favorite authors: Annie Dillard, Annie Dillard, and Eugene Peterson (who got me reading Annie Dillard)
Favorite scripture: Philippians 1:21 (although I'm considering getting a tattoo of Isaiah 30:15... all of it)
Favorite food: Meatloaf and mashed potatoes, followed by cherry pie and strong, black coffee
Hobbies: SCUBA diving and snorkeling, reading, motorcycling... on- and off-road (the idea being to keep the road bike ON the road and the dirt bike OFF) Greatest fear: Having my greatest fears discovered... no kidding

Sharla & Bruce Racioppa
Pastor of Worship

Sharla is a Texas native who came to Cobblestone in January 2006, having served as the worship pastor of Celebration Worship Center in Irving, Texas, for more than seven years. She has over thirteen years of experience in leading worship, supervising and training worship teams, and organizing bands, choirs, and vocal groups. She has initiated coffee house ministries, coached basketball teams, and with her husband, Bruce, has served in youth ministry and pastoral ministry for two decades. Sharla and her husband Bruce grew up in Texas. They were married in 1987, and are the parents of two daughters: Kim and Kylee.

Strangest food she likes: Sushi (any kind)
Favorite vacation spot: Grandma's lake house on Lake Huron, Michigan

Andrew & Anna Holzworth
Youth Pastor

Andrew is an Oxford native. He graduated from Talawanda High School in 2002 and soon after entered Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois. During his time at Moody, he served youth ministry internships with three different churches, and also traveled internationally as part of a soccer team outreach ministry. He was awarded a bachelor's degree in Youth Ministry and Bible in December 2005. Andrew and his wife Anna were married on December 30, 2005.

Nicknames: A, stud muffin and other really good names.
Last couple o' books read: Contemplative Youth Ministry: practicing the presence of Jesus by Mark Yaconelli, Brothers We Are Not Professionals by John Piper, Velvet Elvis: Repainting the Christian Faith by Rob Bell, and Praise Habit: Finding God in Sunsets and Sushi by David Crowder.

Hobbies: Disc golf, x-box, carpentry, and fishing and billiards with Daryl.
Proudest of: My huge back tattoo, but more probably marrying the woman I did.
